New/Improved RSS Feed

Saturday, April 12th, 2003

There are a lot of things I want to write about here, but there are a lot more things I need to do elsewhere; right now that other thing is dinner.

In a bit of site news, our RSS Feed now includes our whole posts, so if you are reading us in a newsreader, please enjoy the feature, but still click through and comment for us.

One more thing: The way text show up on the screen of this iMac is brilliant I tell you, just brilliant!

Now in my CD Player: You Know You’re Right [#] from the album “Nirvana” by Nirvana or if you are in Japan, click here

    Perhaps I am not looking carefully enough, but, uhm...where is the RSS feed, UltraBob? Tell the the URL and I’ll be glad to add it to my regular diet of RSS-fed news.

    Sako,

    I prefer not to publicize my RSS feed too much, because I would prefer that people come to my site to read it, and make comments on my posts.  This has become more of an issue since I made the whole post available.  However most news readers will pick up my RSS feed by simply feeding it my normal web page url.  How?  In the source of this page, up in the <head></pre>section, you’ll find the following code.  This gives you the location of the feed.

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS" href="http://DD.T4AC.COM/index.rdf" />
    <link rel="EditURI" type="application/rsd+xml" title="RSD" href="http://DD.T4AC.COM/rsd.xml" /></pre>

    Thanks for caring,

    UltraBob
