Meet the Grandparents
Sunday, February 1st, 2009
This is what happens when I have an hour or two to work on handling some of the video from UltraMom and UltraDad’s trip to Japan. Here is the video, I think it says enough in the video for me to not go on at length. Also it is my bedtime. If your computer is fast enough and your Internet connection permits, view this video full screen with scaling turned off and hd turned on. Enjoy.

Cut me off after your very cool opening graphic (by the way they stopped off in portland on the way, so go ahead and fix that
)
It seems to be a bit quirky, but it sometimes plays all the way through and sometimes stops at different points in the video so you can reload and try again. I will try exporting the video in a different way and see if Vimeo likes it better after I have a chance to make the correction you suggested.
It only played for half a second.
If it doesn’t work for you, and you want to see it before I have a chance to uodate the video, try watching it with hd turned off.
When I clicked on the text under the video, it opened in Vimeo and played like a charm. All I can say is WOW! I love the cool opening and the star wars effects. I don’t think I realized you were videoing that scene.....
I’m uploading a new version, and heading to bed. You’ll know it is the new version if it includes Portland Oregon in the pre-roll globe footage. Hopefully this time the player will work well even embedded in our page.
It worked!! That was a really cool video.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!!!
I thought planes usually fly over Alaska and the northern pacific, but other than that, great video. Almost makes me want one of my own.
(video camera, that is)
Kevin, I’m glad you clarified, I had thought you meant you wanted a bouncer, which I agree would be great fun, but no matter how hard I search I can’t find one in my size.
Really loved this video! It was fun to watch Linc welcome the “Interlopers”.
Ever thought of doing a blog contest? Prize being editing of video. Hmmm…
Chenoa: Here’s what you do:
You get Mike’s mac out. You go to the apple store online and buy iLife ‘09 which is worth the $79 price tag. Then you sit down with your video for an hour and produce something far better than the simple garbage I’ve been pumping out.
My other trick is that I put it on Vimeo instead of youtube so that I can put up higher quality video.
