His Mother’s Chin

So anyway I’m posting it three weeks late, but here is the latest shot of our delightful baby: Voldemort.


I’d like to point out the little mohawk that he seems to have going on. We’ll probably have to wait until he is out to learn whether it is truly a mohawk or liberty spikes, but Mommy and I will be proud either way.

Last night he was really active and kept his Mommy, and by extension his Daddy, up most of the night. I guess we’d better get used to that.

    According to the caption on the top of the ultrasound his name is actually Maruyama Sanfujinka.  Or I guess it could be Sonovista Color, but that seems like a stretch.

    I got to see this picture a couple of weeks ago, and it totally amazed me. This is the first Ultrasound I have seen where I could actually tell what anything was. I wanted to make sure I was really seeing what I thought I was seeing, and asked UltraBob if we were looking at the whole baby. “I hope not,” he said. “I hope he has legs.” I am a very excited future Grandma; I just hope the Ultras change their mind about the name. Otherwise, I will be stuck calling my grandson “He who must not be named.” Not good.
