Call to Action

Just read on V-2.org about how according to Google, Adam Greenfield is now the seventh best-known Adam. A lesser man might have kept this wondrous nugget to himself.

Nonetheless, I now feel compelled to mention that I am the best-known UltraBob, five times, and am good friends with the best-known Sako, and most impressively, the best-known Kristen. No room for seventh place in my a-list.

I would like to thank Mr. Greenfield however, for pointing this out, and I hereby make this CALL TO ACTION to all you bloggers out there—help clear up this terrible injustice:

Please link to adamwest.com, and make“the most beloved & highly remembered” batman around, much more “best-known” than he is now.

You know what you have to do, I’ll leave you to it.

    Don’t we have a responsibility to make our views known? Our audience can decide whether or not our opinions are agreeable.  Maybe that’s wooly thinking, but advising someone to “leave off” expressing their views seems wrong-headed to me.

    Besides, it was a pretty funny post, if a bit caustic. But maybe I like it because I’m currently Kristen #1. Ah, fame! Where’s the fortune...?

    Just to clarify things a little though, I don’t dislike Adam, though his writings rub me the wrong way the majority of the time.  I think he has also written some very good pieces (the one about style vs. design and the one that discusses Clear Channel Communications’ creating of “grass roots” rallies come to mind.).

    “let it go.”?  Have I been ranting on and on about how much I hate Adam?  I must have missed that.
