Birthday Girls

I just wanted to wish two important girls, Heather and my Grandma, a Happy Birthday!! Did you know they actually share the birthday (March 26th)?  How did you spend your birthday Heather?  Hope you had a great day.  Here in Japan, wel celebrated my Grandma turning 99!!!!!  Yeah, one more year and she will be 100 and I think we’d better start planning, because she hasn’t slowed a bit!  Japanese people celebrate the 99th birthday as royally as 100th.  The real amazing thing is that she could eat sushi and cake with us, and her favorite food these days is Potato chips!  We got her a huge bag of chips we found in Costco as a gift.  She is hard of hearing but has no other health problems.  She might even have a better memory than my dad.  Happy Birthday!!

    I am honored to share my birthday with Japan grandma.  Unfortunately we were sick on my birthday, but we lazed around the house and had a nice relaxed birthday.  It started snowing really hard on the afternoon of my birthday for a little while as well.  Thanks for the great post
