Today, Linc stood up without external human support for the first time!!
  1. By stood up, we mean he, of his own volition, with no prompting, grabbed on to the bouncer and pulled himself up.  He still shows absolutely no interest in crawling when he is not on top of me and/or able to use my chest hair as handholds.

  3. Wow, maybe he’s going to skip the crawling stage all together? Just two more weeks! He had better NOT be scared of me!

  4. Wow! Linc looks a lot like his daddy in this picture. I remember when Bob first pulled himself up at 5 1/2 years old. We were all so relieved!

I think Rowan pulled herself up about this same age and then started crawling (not just army crawling) shortly thereafter, so watch out--it’s coming. Although, I, of course, still strongly encourage Linc to pull Bob’s hair regardless of his favorite mode of transportation.

And I’m impressed you can have your laptop on the floor so easily accessible to Linc. Rowan would have chosen the keyboard as the place she learned to pull herself up…
