Just a reminder to myself for the future of something I realize when I think clearly, but need to remember in heated moments.
It is very easy for the other party in a disagreement to use your anger or frustration as a focal point and thereby ignore the actual substance of your argument so don’t get mad.
Oh how far this mighty blog has fallen. From the creative forum for two rising stars of genius, comedy, business, tehcnology, and industry, to this. ... A personal reminder page no even fit to be used in callendering purposes.

James: Your comment is right on target. I hope to soon get back to my job of posting insightful, witty and inane tales of nostalgia and snippets of my ever changing life.
For instance: today Murphy (poodle) and I were taking a walk in Carlin, NV, soon to be our new home (sigh) and a pitbull ran out to “Greet” us.
Luckily I was carrying Murphy because I had seen a different dog in another yard, but this white pitbull was focused..........on Murphy! He wasn’t barking, wasn’t growling, just staring intently at my adorable, sweet puppy, occasionally lunging and circling. “Go Home, Go Away, Bad Dog” ....all had no effect. I was glad to see a vehicle driving down the road, and even gladder to see that it was the Animal Control officer in her official capacity! Mr. Pitbull wasn’t easily deflected, and continued to focus on Murphy as she finally got hold of his collar and led him away to the paddywagon. Whew! Carlin has more dogs than anyplace I have ever seen, but also has a leash law, and, thankfully, enforces it. I would have made this a post, but I don’t have my posting program here on my sister in law’s computer, so a comment is my only means of communication. Sounds kind of like I’m in prison.....hmmm......
Thanks for the comment. and yes the site is pretty low on material right now. Of course, I wouldn’t have posted this here, if I didn’t think it applied to others, not just myself. Anyway, hopefully there are some new things coming to this site in the not too distant future. Right now they are just ideas in the back of my mind, but if I can find a couple of hours they may very well achieve fruition in a mad frenzy of procrastination from other work.
UM,
I sent the online web blog posting url to your gmail account, so you should be able to post from anywhere. Did you not get that? When you get your mac mini, I’ll you hook you up with Ecto, a nice little web log posting app written by a guy here in Tokyo.

We have been captured by some foul fiend, but his goal is much less grandiose than taking over the world. He is trying to force me to reveal the secrets of the perfect flambe. Little does he know that capturing UltraMom along with me, just ensures that I will NOT be playing with fire. I’m not allowed.

So, being the UltraAunt that I am, I read this enlighting sight once in a while. I have been hearing about blogs in the enws alot lately. It what you do here considered blogging? is it even a verb? Do tell. Miss my Ultranephew and hope to see him soo. Also that cute Tomoko.
Yes this is a blog, Mom and I could be called bloggers, and what we do is blogging. I hate the word, but it is here to stay so we live with it. See how ahead of the times we were when we created this blog in February of 2002?

Its this big guy's turn for the spotlight. Just finished chatting with him on Skype and was struck, as always, by his insight and humor. Get well, Baby. Don't let that cold get the best of you. Take some Zicam.
UltraGirl

This girl has been lately leaving insightful comments on my posts, a move likely to ensure her a good ranking on the Oriko Leaderboard. Thanks, UltraGirl. I too am glad my camera returned from the Center of the Earth. And do give those cranberries another try.

k Has been a little busy, but hopefully that's good news for Akatombo Media. We keep missing each other on Skype, but we'll figure it out one of these days. Thanks for the comments. Someday I may finish writing about the trip!

Am a little disappointed cause I thought I was going to get to see this guy next weekend at Aunt Debi's wedding. Now he's not coming after all, which is probably a wise choice and all, but still drops him a bit in the Leaderboard ratings til I get over it. Give me another day or two. And he DID make me and UltraDad a super-awesome Anniversary Card with a fun guessing game. We're still waiting to hear....who won?

Hasn't been leaving comments, and refuses to share her taco dip recipe, but she did send UltraDad and me an absolutely gorgeous Anniversary card and cash for a dinner out, which we have already made use of. Thanks, Honey.
Polly
88.0
I'm going to leave this kitty up here ahead of the dogs for now. They are still barking at her at every juncture, and as far as I can see, the only thing she does to instigate it is to exist.
Murphy the Wonderdog
87.9
Doesn't bark at Polly as much as his little demon-brother, but does bark at said brother way too much. Murphy, you are the (relatively speaking) "Big Dog". If you want the chewbone Rowdy has, don't bark at him; take it away from him!
Rowdy
75.0
Still too much barking, and a little too much pooping and peeing in the house. Is starting to learn a few tricks, but is not as clever as Murphy in that way.
Long time listener, first time caller.

Blogs go in cycles. Sometimes you get too busy living life to write about (~^).
On the other hand perhaps the Dynamic Duo have been captured by some foul fiend bent on destroying them and taking over the world!
