I am the one and only fantasticly amazing John! You've already had a fair intro into this little doozy of a site we've got going here from my brother, so mine can be brief. A little by the way of introducing myself. I am a Sagittarius who enjoys long walks on the beach and sunsets. I am a Criminal Justice Major at Boise State University (Boise, Idaho) with aspirations of attending a half-way decent law school after graduation. I am considered quite an eligible bachelor and was voted "The Dynamic Duo's Sexiest Man of the Year" in 2002.
My hope is that although this page will contain a certain amount of politics and the like, we won't get bogged down in boring crap. It's my hope that the few of you who stumble upon this website will want to come back because it's interesting, insightful, and fun! I would like for it to be rather laid back and at times humorous. As I already mentioned above, I am currently involved in higher education, and therefore have become sufficiently sick of intellectual crap (a.e. big words masking no independent thought) and really and trully hope that I don't fall into that same old sink-hole. That being said, this page is done on our spare time, and as such it may contain its share of typo's and incomplete sentences and grammatical faux pas. I would ask that you bear with us and cut us a little slack at these times.
Well I think that is sufficient from my end, and I would just like to leave you with this opening thought, "It's the early bird that catches the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese."
Well, since I came up with the initial idea for this monstrosity, and set it up, I'll make the first post. I am Ultrabob and this is a collaboration between me and my little brother who is bigger than me. He is also much funnier and has a better way with words although he is wrong on most issues of import. I'll let him introduce himself a bit more completely.
I'm a 26 year old phenomenon who enjoys making and listening to music, writing poetry, looking at and trying to create visual art, reading, and writing. I publish a 'zine called "Think For a Change Magazine", and someday when I'm happy with the website, I'll let you all (all one or two of you), know the URL (web address). I'm also into computers and currently work as a web and graphic designer. I am currently studying the JAVA programming language, and hope to parlay this knowledge into a better job until I have the resources and the inspiration to get my own company off the ground. My views are often considered quite liberal, although I consider my ideas to be quite simple and common-sensical. I am simply pro-person, and anti-"feelingless corporation with the goal of making as much money as possible no matter who gets hurt."
I envision this page to be a discussion between my brother and me about whatever we feel like talking about, or just a place for us to post random thoughts which will hopefully be interesting for some people to read. I also see it as a place for my brother to riff. He has an awesome sense of humor, and I hope to see him display it on this page. He and I disagree on many, many issues, so this page may also be a place for you to watch knock-down, drag-out, no-holds-barred, bloody, brutal, wars of words.
Johnny and I live far away from each other; in fact we are in different countries. I live in the wilds of Tokyo, Japan while he resides in the United States. At this point we have not seen each other face to face for about a year and 8 months, although we write to each other fairly frequently through instant messaging services. I'll leave my introduction to this page at that, and let Johnny add his two cents worth when he can, but I hope that you'll find this site entertaining, and learn from it now and again. I'm also confident that you'll find that while Johnny may be wittier; I'm the better man.
